Designed using traditional German/Russian, deep-math acoustic modeling and using a new compound membrane, housing and mounting, these 1" capsules are the true work-horse of the new line. They offer depth and smoothness of smaller capsules, yet maintain a 'big" solo sound that makes any instrument immediately "important". This is a whole new generation of the well-known European 1" format.

Combined with the KA-04 reference pre-amplifier, the KR-50 self-noise is below 9 dB-A and the maximum SPL goes to 140 dB without any attenuation! |
