is located just outside of Chemainus. Chemainus is a beautiful small town on Vancouver Island famous for it's large murals decorating many of it's buildings. In continuing the goal of recording higher quality recordings, (where have you heard that before!), I determined that my existing microphones just didn't "cut it" anymore. I scanned the Internet looking for microphones that would be an improvement over what I had and yet wouldn't cost "the world" to purchase! In my searching what caught my eye was references to Taylor Johnson at "The Sound Room". All the feedback I could find simply glowed with respect and recommendation for anyone in the market for quality yet affordable microphones to "Call Taylor Johnson at the Sound Room!!" I did! And am I glad!! During our conversations as to, "just what microphones do you recommend for my recording needs Taylor?", I was continuosly impressed with the integrity of the man. To make a long story much shorter, not only are we making the highest quality recordings we've ever made using Taylor Johnson's microphones but here we are, in the month of October, 2001 marketing Taylor's new THE microphone line to all of Canada AS WELL!!
